Holborne - No. 33 from PGAA Heres Paternus (BQ)

$8.99

Heres Paternus - Pavan, No. 33 from Anthony Holborne's collection of 65 short renaissance dances entitled Pavans, Galliards, Almains (Allemandes) and Other Short Airs (Aeirs). This selection has been transcribed and edited here for brass quintet, scored for two Trumpets in Bb, French Horn in F, Trombone and Trombone 2/Tuba. Original bass voice range has been maintained, working well for a second trombone. If played on tuba, certain passages may be better suited down the octave. Available for other instrumentation or ensemble by request! These short baroque pieces from the Elizabethan period are perfect for any occasion, including concerts, recitals, background music, as well as training young brass instrumentalists to play together, or even for the advanced musicians to hone one's ornamentation skills!
