Q: I didn't receive a Confirmation email with the download link from Valley Music Press for my purchase. Where is it?

A: You should receive a confirmation/receipt from both PayPal and Valley Music Press after making a purchase. First, please check your spam/junk folder to make sure it was not redirected there. Also, if you used different emails for Valley Music Press and PayPal, make sure you are checking the appropriate address. If you still cannot find it, please email us!

Q: I'm trying to download my music and am entering the correct information (Order Number and Email Address) but am being told 'No match found for your entry.'

A: The email portion of the Order Lookup is case sensitive. Please make sure you are entering your email with the same capitalization that was entered when placing the order. (ex: must be entered with a capital J and a capital D). If you are unsure how you entered it, please look at how your email address appears in the bottom portion of your receipt from Valley Music Press (NOT PayPal). If this still doesn't solve the problem, please email us!

Q: How do I download my music?

A: After payment has been confirmed through PayPal:

If you Purchased Without An Account:
-Click the link found in your Valley Music Press confirmation email or simply click here and follow the directions to download your music now!

If you purchased With An Account:
-If you are not already signed in, click Log In at the top of our website and sign in.
-Proceed to 'My Account', then 'Orders' to download your music now!

Please note, all downloadable music must be redeemed within seven (7) days of purchase, and you are credited with one (1) download per purchase.

Q: I purchased music but it hasn't arrived yet. When will it arrive?

A: All purchases (PDFs, MP3s) are downloadable and are available immediately after payment (unless you have purchased a custom tempo MP3 which will be delivered by email)! You will receive an email from PayPal with details confirming your transaction, as well as another email from Valley Music Press containing a clickable link to download your music. Actual files are not delivered by email, unless you have chosen a custom tempo MP3 Accompaniment which will be delivered by email as soon as it is finished. For more detailed directions on how to download your music immediately, refer to the question/answer above!

Q: I haven't gotten a reply to my question/email. Are you replying to me?

A: Yes! We try to be very prompt when answering emails, questions, and concerns. If you feel you are not receiving a reply from us, please make sure you gave us a valid email address and check your spam/junk folder. This seems to be a issue particularly with HOTMAIL and YAHOO addresses. Also, if you gave us a different email than the one you used for PayPal, make sure you are checking the email address you gave to us! We do not communicate by telephone. Please use email and we will promptly reply! Thank you!

Q: I don't have a Valley Music Press account. Can I still make a purchase?

A: Yes! When checking out, select "Checkout Without Account" and proceed.

Q: I don't have/use a PayPal account. Can I still make a purchase with just a credit card?

A: Yes! We use PayPal to securely process payments, but you do not need a PayPal account to make a purchase. You may use just your credit/debit card if you wish. After clicking "Confirm" in the purchase process, you will be redirected to PayPal's website. Click the button labeled "Pay With Credit or Debit Card" instead of signing in. After this process, you will be redirected to our webpage to download your music.

Q: I downloaded my music, but now I want to download it again. How do I do that?

A: You receive only one (1) download per purchase. Also, please note your download must be redeemed within seven (7) days of purchase, after which the download link will expire. If you had problems in the download process, do not hesitate to email us!

Q: Can I download my purchase directly to my iPhone, iPad, tablet, or other mobile device?

A: Unless you are aware of, and familiar with apps allowing you to store downloads and unzip files, we do not recommend directly downloading to a mobile device (you may still purchase from one, but download later). We recommend downloading your purchase to a computer first. You will be downloading a zip file that needs unzipping (if you don't know how to do this, see the question/answer below). If you wish to view the PDF on a device such as a tablet or phone, you may transfer them afterwards. The same holds true if you have purchased MP3's. First download them to your computer, unzip them, then drag them to your device via iTunes, or whatever software you use to load media on your device.

Q: What is a Zip file and how do I deal with that?

A: Some of the sheet music PDF and/or MP3 files downloaded from this website are contained in Zip files. A Zip file is often what you will actually be downloading. Simply stated, a Zip file is one "package" of all the PDF files of music that may be included in the piece you purchased.  Some operating systems, such as Windows 7 and OS X, already support zip files and can open or extract them automatically usually by double-clicking the package.  In some cases you many need to single-click the file, then right-click the file and select something like "Extract All..."or in some Mac cases, selecting Open With, then select Archive Utility.  Each computer may have a slightly different situation to extract or access the files within the Zip package.  If your operating system does not natively support Zip files, you can download and install a tool such as:

Q: I would like a piece in a different key, different instrumentation, or clef. Can I get that?

A: Please contact us if you have any special requests, and we will see what we can do for you!

Q: I need sheet music I already own transposed to a different key, clef, range, or need some copy work done. Do you do that?

Q: I would like to order hard copies, how do I do that?

A: Hard copies are currently unavailable. We may add them in the future. If you have a special request, please contact us.

Q: What's your return policy?

A: If you have downloaded your purchase or the download window has expired (Seven (7) days from purchase), all purchases are final and there are no refunds or returns. If you have not yet downloaded your purchase and the download window has not expired, you may be refunded by request.
