Tallis - The Lamentation of Jeremiah Part I (1) and II (2) (BQ)

$39.99

The Lamentation of Jeremiah - Parts I and II, by Thomas Tallis, is a beautiful vocal motet based on the book of Jeremiah, set here for brass quintet. The following brass parts are transcriptions of the vocals. In this transcription, the original key has been preserved so that the parts may be used as an optional enhancement or accompaniment to a choir, in part or in full, without the need for transposition. Because of this, these transcriptions have not been edited with any additional rests for brass. If performing as a brass selection alone and additional rest time is needed, the "Parts" may be broken up into “movements,” so to speak, playing the Parts in sections from rehearsal letters to the marked fermatas. Great as a replacement of a chorus, or a wonderful option to supplement or double your choir with brass voices. This is a beautiful English selection, perfect for many occasions, including preludes, offertories, weddings, church services, sacred, or other events!
