Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina was an Italian Renaissance composer and is still a favorite for brass players today. Brass players know the first selection in this collection well, but here is the
entire set! The Ricercari sopra li Tuoni is a collection containing all eight (8) motets. The ricercar selections are set for brass quartet, possible in different configurations with the included substitute parts. An additional Trombone part has been included as a substitute part for the French Horn, as well as an additional Horn part as a substitute part for the Trumpet 2, allowing for multiple quartet configurations!
